U17 County Tournament was held on the 5th October 2007, the results are:

Boys Singles:

Stephen Hunt beat Tom Richards 21-17, 21-19

Girls Singles:

Rachel Mynors-Wallace beat Rachel Richards 21-5, 21-2

Boys Doubles:

Thomas Ashford & Kieran Birch beat Stephen Hunt & Tom Richards 19-21, 21-19, 21-19

Girls Doubles:

Rachel Mynors-Wallace & Rachel Richards beat Harriett Alcock & Emma Brooks 21-14, 21-11

Result: Dorset U17's beat Devon 26 - 10

Dorset Under 17 team travelled away to play their first match of the session on Sunday 14th October and convincingly beat Devon U17's.

Josh Thomas, Royce Thomas, Stephen Hunt and Matthew Haynes all started well winning their singles games. Rachel Mnyors Wallace, Rachel Richards, Sam Wiswould, Ails Crammond and Emma Brookes all won their singles. The majority of the doubles games went in favour of Dorset.

Their manager Paul Breakwell commented that their overall performance was fairly good on the day.

However, they can expect harder games to come as the season progresses.

Dorset U17's played Cornwall on the 28th October 2007 and beat them 21-15 . It was their second match of the season and Cornwall fought hard, however Dorset had the more experienced team to secure the win. The team was:

Dorset U17's travelled away to Avon on Sunday 11th November 2007. Despite the mini-bus breaking down en-route, the Dorset team performed the best they could, eventually losing 8-28.
