has now achieved Badminton Academy Status
The National Inter-
will be in full swing during the National Badminton Week. We have a possible total of 40 schools entering the competition this year. Each of the six Partnerships have entered their senior teams in this Badminton Competition, this is the first time in Dorset's history that this has happened.
Community Coaching at Hamworthy Middle School.
On the 15th October, Mark Lever our County Coach and Active Dorset Badminton Community Coach will be at Hamworthy Middle School. Mark is introducing Badminton with "Taster" sessions throughout the whole school. Every youngster in the school will benefit from Mark's coaching and then the children from Hamworthy School will be invited to special coaching sessions at Carter Community College on Saturday mornings.
This new Badminton coaching session commences on Saturday 29th October 2007
BJH Awards
During National Badminton Week, Carter Community School and Ferndown Upper will be starting a new BJHA on Tuesday afternoons, In addition, Bournemouth Boys School, Bournemouth School for Girls, Corfe Hills, Ashdown Technology College and Bishop of Winchester School will be up and ready to start their courses during
