The Badminton into schools  initiatives have been a great success. A number of festivals  have been organised at schools throughout Dorset and children of all ages have had a lot of fun and gained an interest in badminton which will help them throughout their lives. My thanks to the PDMs and teachers in assisting me in this project.

The new season 2007/2008 has just started and already Bisi Festivals are being booked.

BADMINTON JUNIOR HELPER AWARD

Students from Wey Valley school were presented with the Badminton Junior Helper Award Trophy at their Schools Presentation evening in July 2007.

This trophy was presented by the Dorset Development Officer to the Wey Valley Badminton Academy Team for their achievements over the season 2006/7, organising and running Badminton Festivals in the Wey Valley Area.   It was a close call for Wey Valley as St.Peter's School, Bournemouth were a very close second and Bournemouth Boys School came third.
